In July of 2023, our lives took an unexpected turn. Our second son was born with Apert Syndrome, a rare genetic condition.

From the moment our baby was born until we determined his diagnosis, a whirlwind of emotions overcame our family: shock, confusion, disbelief, and fear.

For days, we felt like we had more questions than answers. The news from our medical teams only seemed to be getting worse, and there were times when we didn’t know if our child was going to make it.

When we finally received a diagnosis, it was one that we had never heard of before and didn't understand. Apert Syndrome?

We soon learned that care for our son would require around-the-clock care, full-time oxygen, and a lifetime full of medical operations and procedures.

During our time in the hospital, we witnessed other families experiencing the same pain, confusion, and disbelief we had.

We overheard many struggling to make the impossible decision: pay for essential family needs or for the best medical care for their child. Witnessing the emotional and financial strain placed on these families, we knew we had to help.

That was when our mission became clear – to help as many families as possible who are faced with the emotional and financial challenges that come with caring for a child with a complex medical condition.

Knowing we couldn't do it alone, we founded Little Sparks Project.

What started as a personal mission evolved into a collective effort as close friends joined us on this transformative journey. Together, we realized the impact we can have on families in need.

we have become dedicated to providing both emotional and financial support to ensure that families can focus on their children's well-being without the burden of overwhelming expenses.

Together, we can be a beacon of support, proving that even the littlest spark can ignite profound change in the world for those in need.
